God's Love

Psalm 36:7
Matthew 23:37
Bishop Jim Justman

There are many BIG questions in life that will not be answered this side of heaven.
~Why do the innocent suffer?
~Why are children abused?
~Why do friends betray friends?
~What are we to make of deadly natural disasters?
~Why is this happening to me?

There is one BIG question God answers for sure. For me, it is the ONE that covers all the rest.

~God, do you love me?

"My dear and precious child. I love you. Always and forever I love you.
I cry your tears. I dance your dances. I face your fears. I smile when you smile. And, in Christ, I have even died your death. A tiny little chick cannot understand that its mother is risking her life to shelter it under her wings. Still...she does. And so do I.

I know life can be hard and your questions can be BIG. Bring them all to me and I will gather you close.
And you will know, again and again....
You are loved and precious.
I have lived for you.
I have died for you.
I live again and always for you.
Yes! I love you!

  1. God's Love is the one assurance we have. It gives me peace, hope, and confidence to move through this life without the answers to the many questions I have. Thank you for this beautiful reminder that God does Love me and all of you and that alone makes the unanswered questions ok.
