The Psalms are full of single verses that read like Irish blessings; today as I ready the Psalm for today I am reminded of peace. Peace that God brings. Peace that God gives. Peace that the world does not know apart from God. God's peace is one that allows us calm when the world cries panic. It is a peace that allows us to remain silent when the world wants us to scream out. God's peace is a peace that gives us strength to face thing's we can't face without our Savior.
On this St. Patrick's day, when their are plenty of toasts may our toast be to the peace that we know- God's peace which is a blessing and a sources of strength for each and every moment of our life. Pastor Joy

God's peace, whenever I hear the word 'peace' and God together I instantly feel calm . . . that is a blessing to me!
